Adventure - THEMES

Camping

Spend the night stargazing and wake up to the sound of bird songs, and enjoy some early morning bird watching in nature. Most camping sites in Lebanon are in the mountains, some are geared towards families and edutainment, while others are geared towards singles and a party atmosphere.

Some tour organizers organize regular weekend camping trips or can custom-made a few days’ outdoor trip or expedition.

Support the local community and gain an exotic experience.

Partying & Sea Side/Amchit

On the rocky cliff on the seaside of Amchit, you enjoy a Hippy atmosphere with lots of parties.

Enjoy camping facilities and organic food; you can bring your own tent or use a tree house.

Adventure Sports

Lebanon’s clear cut four seasons, topography of folds of mountains and valleys, and 230 km - beach side, is the place where you can enjoy a lot of adventure opportunities. To organize your trip, check regular organized trips or contact them ahead of time to customize your own programs.

Nature Adventure

Trekking and hiking trips are suitable all year long. This can be organized by professional tour operators or one can refer to a local tour guide leader. Of the well-known organizers of this type of adventure is Lebanon Mountain Trail which is a development project designed to benefit the local communities through tourism activities. Some other trail sections are thematic, like the literary trail highlighting the famous Lebanese Poets who influenced American literature such as Gibran and Naimeh. Some yearly events are organized around the Lebanon Mountain Trail.

Diving

Over thousands of years, Lebanon was ruled by Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Ottomans, and French who left their footprints on land and sea to make diving in Lebanon a one of its kind as divers enjoy 300 days of sunshine and warm water.

Rally Sports

The Automobile & Touring Club, FIA and AIT member, promotes Motor sports activities in Lebanon. It organizes rallies, 4x4, cross-country, Karting, Speed Test and Hill Climb, and the Rally attracting thousands of spectators and competitors from Arab and European Countries at the beginning of summer.

Water Sports

Come and race the renowned eastern wind of the Mediterranean, you can practice your hobby or improve your skills on the hands of Lebanese expertise.
