North Lebanon's main feature lies in its notable number of medieval castles, churches and monasteries scattered all across its landscape. Many of these crusader structures have remained to this day and are in use by the local communities.

Classical tours of major sites like Jeita, Byblos, Baalbek and Anjar are available with most tour operators.

Special outdoor programs mostly of hiking and trekking, highlighting either culture or adventure programs are offered by enthusiastic Lebanese trip organizers. Some of these programs are offered through local channels like bi-weekly or monthly magazines such as Agenda Cultural, and Time Out Magazine for regular programs.

Note: individual trips can be booked for couples or small groups, yet the prices are expected to be a little bit higher.
