Mr. Criss Juliard

Currently works at the LBLI project in support of Beyond Beirut, is a senior value chain, agricultural and rural business development advisor with 30 years experience as an international development specialist; also, worked on environmental projects with sustainable tourism components in Madagascar with WWF, Senegal and Morocco.

Dr. Hamid El Debs

Director of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management, University of Balamand. He Holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France. He led many alternatives to make the North of Lebanon a destination for alternative tourism. Member in the advisory board of the El Mina Tourism Information Center and a founding member of the Beyond Beirut organization.

Ms. Mona Fares

Holds key positions at the Ministry of Tourism since 1996: head of the Department of Research, Studies and
Documentation; director of the Department of Archeological and Historical sites and Museums; head of the Department
of Touristic Promotion – focusing on ecotourism as a generator of revenues and opportunities for rural Lebanon.

Ms. Nadine Chemaly

A Dr in pharmacy, with 20 years expertise in sales and marketing with Leading companies : P&G and Transmed (Distributors of P&G in Lebanon, UAE, Sudan and other countries) , since 2 years Mrs Chemaly worked as a senior marketing consultant on Lebanon Business Linkages Initiative (LBLI) project; a USAID funded project implemented by ACDI/VOCA which aims at increasing economic growth for Lebanese agro food manufacturing companies by opening new markets and addressing constraints in the supply chain.
